Samsung and Education

Samsung has used its innovative products to contribute to education. The Samsung Classroom also known as the Classroom of the Future was introduced to engage students and teachers with its innovative learning tools ("Samsung School,'' 2013)The program uses Samsung devices such as: Samsung Note, Samsung Chrome book, Galaxy Tabs and the ATIV Tab 3 as interactive learning tools to share educational content with students(''Samsung School,"2013)

We live in a technology rich society, but many may wonder if these devices would be an extra distraction in the classroom. The good thing about the Samsung School is, teachers are able to keep the attention of students by controlling the screens of these devices so that students are not easily distracted by non- classroom related activities. 

The Samsung School is manageable, collaborative and engaging. Features such as, screen monitoring and group discussions enable teachers to keep track of each student's activities; because Samsung realizes that every child learns differently. The school is also equipped with a group discussion feature that allows up to six participants to simultaneously write on the screen; which helps students to participate in class(''business solutions,''2013) 

Students who are a part of the Samsung School are able to access information not only in the classroom but at home as well. Students are able to get help from both teachers and students via online portal and engaging communication tools.
