Welcome to the wonderful world of Samsung!!! So, what is Samsung?

Samsung Electronics is a South Korean multinational company founded in 1938 and headquartered in Suwon, South Korea. Many people tend to associate Samsung with its mobile devices, the most popular being the Samsung Galaxy smartphones; however the company has so much more to offer. (Samsung, 2014)

Samsung sells a variety of electronics such as: mobile phones, tablets and televisions. They also produce cutting edge home appliances that can make an ordinary home extraordinary. Some of their home appliances include: refrigerators, microwaves, air conditioners and dishwashers. 

Samsung has taken innovation to a whole new level by partnering with health institutions to improve healthcare service quality and provide medical solutions.The organization has developed the Medical imaging initiative, products that are designed to provide advanced technology for use in modern healthcare environments. The medical equipment comprises of Ultrasound machines that help to secure accurate diagnoses, digital X-ray systems that provide quality care and also in-vitro diagnostics. (Samsung, 2014)

Samsung and Education

Samsung has used its innovative products to contribute to education. The Samsung Classroom also known as the Classroom of the Future was introduced to engage students and teachers with its innovative learning tools ("Samsung School,'' 2013)The program uses Samsung devices such as: Samsung Note, Samsung Chrome book, Galaxy Tabs and the ATIV Tab 3 as interactive learning tools to share educational content with students(''Samsung School,"2013)

We live in a technology rich society, but many may wonder if these devices would be an extra distraction in the classroom. The good thing about the Samsung School is, teachers are able to keep the attention of students by controlling the screens of these devices so that students are not easily distracted by non- classroom related activities. 

The Samsung School is manageable, collaborative and engaging. Features such as, screen monitoring and group discussions enable teachers to keep track of each student's activities; because Samsung realizes that every child learns differently. The school is also equipped with a group discussion feature that allows up to six participants to simultaneously write on the screen; which helps students to participate in class(''business solutions,''2013) 

Students who are a part of the Samsung School are able to access information not only in the classroom but at home as well. Students are able to get help from both teachers and students via online portal and engaging communication tools.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

There are so many great gadget choices available to consumers today; and there is a constant battle between whether a consumer should purchase a laptop or tablet device. A laptop is generally known as a mobile personal computer; however tablets are at the peak of mobile technology.

Tablets are trendy, lightweight, compact and easy to carry around, and these attributes all describe Samsung's newest tablet the Galaxy Note 10.1. Whether you're a student or someone working in a business environment this tablet gives you the opportunity to stand out and impress. Here are some of the many features the newest tablet has to offer: 

Design: This tablet is one of the largest tablets designed by Samsung it is 11.6 inches wide and 8 inches tall; however it is quite thin and only weighs 8 millimeters. The back of the tablet is leather like and gives a classic and beautiful look; this does not only catch everyone's attention, but it protects the device from cracks and scratches. The tablet also allows you to be creative by designing your own screen. You can create a menu by pinning your most used apps, videos,  files and folders to your screen. 

Note Taking: If you're a student or a part of an organization you would surely love the note taking feature. This feature enables you to scribble notes down while the S note app edits them without you having to rewrite them. 

Memo: Everyone is super busy and we all need an app that would allow us to keep track of the features we use daily. This is exactly what the memo feature allows you to do. You are able to access the most seven important features that you use daily on your tablet device such as: calls, saving, contacts, sending sms messages, email, searching the web and adding tasks.

Scrapbook: We all have guilty pleasures and need time for a little fun. The scrapbook allows you to organize webpages, you tube videos, and pics into one easy to access app.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Amazing Features

We all know that Samsung produces a variety of smartphones; however the Galaxy S3 is the company's latest flagship smartphone and it is simply amazing.

Now I know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 has already been released but that does not mean the S3 is outdated. Being an owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3 I will share with you three amazing features on this smartphone that captured my attention. 

1. Best photo function: This function allows the user to pick the best of four photo shots that the camera takes in a single click. This will ensure that no matter the event, you will always end up with that perfect picture.

2. Smart stay: Smart stay is an amazing feature that allows your front camera to know exactly when you are looking at the screen. This will ensure that no matter what your doing on your're phone, your screen never goes blank. And you may ask what happens when I fall asleep? No problem smart stay is able to detect when your eyes are closed, and the screen will immediately shut off.

3. Pop up Play: The Pop up Play feature allows you to multitask on your smartphone. For example if you're watching a video and you receive a text message, pressing the pop up play icon will enable you to shrink the video, move it to the corner and reply to your text message while still watching.

These are just some of the many amazing features that the Samsung Galaxy S3 has to offer, and being a user of this smartphone I can truly say it has never disappointed.

Samsung Vision 2020

In the past year Samsung has released an abundance of successful products and they plan to continue their road to success in 2014. According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung CEO said that the company will begin to focus on improving their software and new technologies. They organization wants to expand beyond Android and show what they can do in their upcoming brand of Tizen devices.

Being a frequent user of Samsung's devices I am excited to see what the future holds for the organization. The company has had quite a successful year and has showed that it could stand up against the competition. They have produced not only a wide range of mobile devices, but household items as well. 

The organization has showed how diverse it can be and everyday someone is switching from the competition and becoming a Samsung user. They allow their customers to inspire them with new thoughts and ideas, and they are living up to their business philosophy of devoting their talent and technology to creating superior products and services, to contribute to a better global society. (Samsung, 2013)

Samsung's vision includes becoming one of the top five brands in the world by 2020. They will do so through, creativity, partnership and talent.  (Samsung, 2013)
